초록
The purpose of this study is to present the clinical effects of whole body vibration exercise on senile dementia patients by analyzing what kind of effects it has on the functional activity and brain activation of thirty mild-moderate senile dementia patients compared to both walking and non-exercise by applying ten weesk of whole body vibration exercise. The conclusions resulting from all the process of experiment are as follows. 1. The change in chair stand of WVG and WEG due to exercise type showed significant difference(p<.05) compared to NEG. 2. The change in 8 foot up and go of a WVG due to exercise type showed significant difference(p<.001) compared to WEG amd NEG. However there no difference observed T3, T4, P3, P4 of attention concentration quotient. 3. The change in the Fp1, Fp2, F3, F4 of alpha wave in WVG due to exercise type showed significant difference(p<.05) compared to WEG and NEG. The change in the F3 of alpha wave in WEG due to exercise type showed significant difference(p<.05), and Fp1, F4 of alpha wave in NEG due to exercise type showed significant difference(p<.05) Concluding from the experimental results listed above, the whole body vibration exercise is proven to be the most effective exercise type for treating senile dementia patients.
